Directions to Quartermaster Cottage
From I-5 take the West Seattle Bridge exit
just south of I-90. Go west and follow the signs to the Vashon Ferry Terminal (at Fauntleroy). Tell the nice ferry workers that you are going to Vashon (not Southworth). If you are coming from Southworth, tell the ferry workers that you are going to Vashon (not Fauntleroy).
Once you are on Vashon, go south on the main highway through the town of Vashon. You will pass two blinking stop lights, cross a small bridge and you are in Burton!
The Quartermaster Cottage is on the right hand side of the highway just after you past the Quartermaster Yacht Club. It is directly across the street from the Quartermaster Marina.
If you are coming from Tacoma (Point Defiance), follow the main highway north to Burton. Go through one blinking stop light and about a half a block Quartermaster Cottage is on your left. We are directly across the street from the Quartermaster Marina.

Your departing and arriving terminals from the mainland will be:
Fauntleroy (West Seattle) to Vashon Island
Point Defiance (Tacoma) to Tahlequah (that’s the name of the south end ferry dock) Southworth (Kitsap Peninsula) to Vashon Island
